An apple a day, indeed, does keep the doctor away, and the cider vinegar made from apples aids the body in myriad ways.
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is wonderful for cleansing baths, shiny hair, and smooth skin.
Internally, and mixed with honey, ACV acts an energy tonic and health remedy. "Since 400BC, Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, and others, have used vinegar and vinegar mixed with honey, as an energizing tonic and a healing elixir."

Two tablespoons ACV, one tablespoon honey (preferably raw and organic), and eight onces of water (filtered)mixed together and consumed every morning does wonders for the body. It aids in weight loss, maintains healthy weight, helps to dissolve gallstones, and is an overall immune enhancement.
Other benefits include, but are not limited to, bad breath, body odor, skin problems, cellulite, yeast infections, and constipation.
ACV is an amazing household friend, as well. It can be mixed with water in a spray bottle for cleansing counter tops, floors, etc., wiping windows, and sanitizing bathrooms.
When using as a household cleanser, white vinegar is fine. However, for the body, raw, unfiltered ACV is a must.
"Many commercial apple cider vinegars have been pasteurized, filtered, refined or distilled in order to make the product look good, and thereby more appealing to the general public. Unfortunately this extra processing destroys much of the healthy goodness and thus many of the apple cider benefits that were in the product in the first place."

The "real" ACV is available in every health food store, or can be purchased online. I recommend any ACV that contains the "mother". The brown sediment on the bottom of the bottle. The ACV/honey elixir is not the most palatable drink one has ever tasted, nevertheless, its benefits are worth it. After a few days the taste will grow on you. Here's to your health!!
